Experience – 9 to 15 years.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems. Experience of Epicor ERP is plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilites
- Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, ensuring optimal use of resources.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of necessary materials, and manage inventory to avoid shortages or excess.
- Should have experience of managing export & import shipments.
- Assess production capacity and plan accordingly to meet current and future production demands.
- Ensure that production processes comply with quality standards and regulations; work with the quality assurance team to address any issues.
- Monitor and manage production costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and smooth production operations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on production performance, including metrics such as output, efficiency, and downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production planning and control team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Quickly address and resolve production issues to minimize disruptions and maintain delivery schedules.
