Designation: Trainee Engineer
Department: Design (Mechanical)
Location: Pune
Qualifications: BE or Deploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 0-1 years
Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, AutoCAD) for creating 2D and 3D models and technical drawings, along with product data management software such as Teamcenter.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team and convey technical information.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the design engineering field.
Roles & Responsibilites
Support senior engineers in creating 2D and 3D design drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge).
- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings that adhere to company standards and engineering best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM) for designs, ensuring that all required materials and components are listed and accounted for.
- Help maintain accurate records of design documentation, including CAD files, specifications, and design revisions.
- Ensure all documentation is updated, organized, and easily accessible for future reference or team collaboration.
- Work closely with the manufacturing, quality control, and engineering teams to ensure designs can be produced effectively and meet all performance requirements.
- Assist in identifying and addressing any design issues encountered during the manufacturing process.
- Update or make revisions to existing design drawings as needed, based on feedback, changes in specifications, or new product requirements.
- Learn and apply engineering standards and guidelines to ensure all designs are compliant with safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
