    Diploma Mechanical Engineering / ITI Millwright Maintenance.

    2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance (preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries).

Skills

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machine tools (HMC, VMC, Lathe, etc.).
  • Understanding of vibration analysis and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
  • Good problem solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of utility maintenance (DG sets, compressors, pumps, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines, utilities, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems including ball screws, spindles, and gearboxes.
  • Replace or repair defective machine parts, adjust clearances, and align moving components to maintain operational accuracy.
  • Dismantle, assemble, and install machinery and equipment with proper tools and techniques.
  • Conduct regular lubrication and vibration analysis to monitor equipment health and performance.
  • Perform maintenance and servicing of utility systems such as generators, compressors units.
  • Carry out HMC, VMC, and lathe machine spindle and bearing maintenance work.
  • Collaborate with the production team to reduce downtime and improve machine efficiency.
  • Implement quality improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts, and machine performance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Train and guide junior maintenance personnel to enhance skill levels within the team.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in shifts and attend breakdowns during non-working hours when required.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
