Key Skills:
EPLAN Electric
Proficiency in electrical design software such as EPLAN Electric, Excel and other office tools.
Sound knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including NEC, IEC, IS, UL, CE, and CSA
Experience in designing electrical systems such as power distribution networks, control panels, and PCBs
Familiarity with circuit analysis and simulation tools
Proficiency in Excel and Excel-based programming tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
Ability to accurately interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Good understanding of electrical components, devices, and system integration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
Roles & Responsibilities
Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry codes and standards (IS, CE, UL, CSA, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into the overall product architecture
Conduct feasibility studies and perform risk assessments for new designs
Carry out calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency
Select suitable components, devices, and materials for each project
Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and coordinate with the procurement team
Provide support during testing, validation, and troubleshooting phases
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies in electrical design
